Our facility is much more than a place to stay: carved out of the convent attached to the Basilica of Santa Maria della Sanità, it has become a hospitality project, run by the youth of the Rione Sanità. The cozy rooms retain an old-fashioned warmth, and the facility is located in the main square of Rione Sanità, just minutes from the historic center of Naples, and within walking distance of the many cultural and artistic attractions the neighborhood offers.

The Casa del Monacone was born from a parish initiative, which wanted to enhance an unused space to provide an employment outlet, a micro-economy start-up for the Rione. This welcoming project aims to be a bridge to foster exchange between the neighborhood, historically on the margins, and the rest of the city and the world.
